12 hours per week – Mon & Tues 08:30 to 14:30
42.8 weeks per year (to include September INSET Training Day)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced technician or “creative, practical person” to provide support to our Technology Department. The successful candidate will be expected to manage, maintain and prepare materials in readiness for lessons across the Faculty and support the teaching staff in delivering the curriculum. You will assist with class demonstrations, maintaining equipment and workspaces, assisting with practical lessons, general cleaning/housekeeping duties and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
• Experience working as a Food/Textiles Technician or the ability to learn.
• Strong subject knowledge and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students.
