KES Enrich

Sixth Form life is about far more than lessons. KES Enrich transforms education into experience, helping every student grow in independence, confidence and character. Rooted in our values of Dream, Believe, Achieve, it gives students the skills, opportunities and experiences to succeed in education, employment and life. 

The KES Enrich programme at Sixth Form is built around nine strands that define the Sixth Form journey. It ensures every young person leaves school with strong qualifications, a clear sense of direction, and the experiences that make them stand out.

KES EXPLORE Trips and expeditions enrich learning and independence, including university visits, theatre trips, museum days, and fieldwork. International opportunities feature Iceland Geography expeditions, European Art tours, and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
KES CLUBS Creative and performing arts at a professional level. Students perform in the annual Sixth Form Arts Festival, stage drama productions with local theatres, and curate exhibitions across the new KES campus. Music evenings, digital media projects and collaborations with local artists enable every student to showcase their creativity. 
KES SPARKS Ambitious learners are supported through Scholars’ Seminars with guest speakers, the Extended Project Qualification, national competitions, and specialist pathways in fields like medicine, law, and engineering. Preparation for Oxbridge, Russell Group, and degree apprenticeship applications is built into the programme.
KES DISCOVERY DAYS Immersive themed events connecting study with real-world learning, including The Future of Medicine, Law in Practice, Global Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence in Action. Employers, universities and industry partners lead workshops that build insight and practical skills such as resilience, teamwork and financial literacy. 
KES CLUBS & SOCIETIES A vibrant, student-led community where Sixth Formers run societies in Debate, Psychology, Law, STEM, and Literature, alongside clubs for football, netball, yoga, running, and fitness. Creative outlets include Journalism, Photography, Gaming and Film Club, with staff mentors supporting new ideas each year. 
KES FUTURES Careers, employability and personalised guidance, including access to one-to-one mentoring and tailored career planning. Annual KES Careers Fair, university and apprenticeship providers visits, and development of essential employability skills through CV and interview workshops. 
KES ELEVATE Academic support to ensure every student achieves their potential, including subject clinics, supervised study zones and structured revision sessions. Coaching focuses on organisation, time management and independent learning, helping students perform at their best in final exams. 
KES COMMUNITY Service, volunteering and citizenship in action with support to local primary schools, community groups and care homes. They lead charity initiatives, environmental campaigns and social-impact projects that strengthen links between KES and the wider Rochford community. 
KES LEADERSHIP Developing confident, compassionate leaders of the future through The Future Leaders Programme that offers mentoring and practical leadership experience. Outstanding contribution is recognised through the KES Leadership Award and national accreditation schemes.
