Scholar Programme

Inspiring Academic Excellence

Our Scholars Programme has been designed to encourage students to challenge themselves, develop a love of learning, and celebrate academic success across all subjects.

The programme is currently available to students in Years 7, 8 and 9, with plans to expand to Years 10 and 11 from September.

How do students earn Scholar badges?

Each subject has four criteria that students must complete in order to achieve their Scholar badge.

As students complete each criterion, they should ask their teacher to sign and date their Scholars Booklet as evidence of completion.

Once all four criteria have been successfully completed, students will receive:

  • A Scholar Badge
  • 10 Reward Points
  • A Certificate of Achievement presented during Honours Assembly

Students are encouraged to collect as many subject badges as possible and take pride in their achievements.

Aiming for Full Scholar Status

Students who successfully collect every available Scholar badge will receive a special prize in recognition of their exceptional dedication, effort and achievement.

This is a significant accomplishment and an exciting goal for students to work towards throughout their time in the programme.

Who can students speak to for support?

Students who would like further information or support should speak to their subject teachers or Mrs Woodard, Associate Assistant Headteacher.

We are committed to supporting every student throughout their Scholar journey.
