We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Biology to join our team at The King Edmund School. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Biology department, develop an ambitious curriculum, and support our students to achieve their very best. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the drive to lead our Biology department. You’ll have a strong track record of securing excellent outcomes and a commitment to continuous improvement for both students and staff.

The Role

You'll lead and develop our Biology department to ensure outstanding teaching and learning, inspire students to reach their full potential, contribute to cross-disciplinary Science faculty initiatives, monitor student progress using data to raise attainment, and mentor staff to promote best practice and professional development.
