Having decided that a career in one of the various public services is for them, students will start a learning journey that will lead them through the role, job opportunities, hazards and risks that this most rewarding of careers can offer them.
The various units on offer include: learning about the rights of citizens living in the UK; the important work that the public services do to improve the life chances and health of the population; and the impact that crime has upon our society.
Along with classroom based learning, students will meet physical challenges relating to their health and fitness as well as surviving adventurous activities.
With nine internally assessed units and two exams; this course will develop both the educational and life skills of those who accept the challenge.
