Aspirational Targets
At KES we track students’ progress throughout the year against their Aspirational Targets.
We believe it is important for all students to take ownership of their learning journey and set their own Aspirational Targets in collaboration with their subject teachers. All prior attainment is taken into consideration depending where they are in their KES journey.
Every half term these Aspirational targets are reviewed and if necessary adjusted. Students take ownership of the progress they are making in all subjects through reviewing their performance and understanding what they need to do to progress.
All aspirational targets are based on the 1-9 number system as used at GCSE. 4 is considered a pass and 5 is considered a high pass.
