Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge

Congratulations to Aimiee and Ronni in Year 10 for taking part in the regional final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge.

Both students were selected through a rigourous process which saw them rise to the top from over 80 Year 10 students from across the region.

They demonstrated the techniques and confidence needed to be excellent public speakers and the topics they choose were very heartfelt.

The girls should be extremely proud of themselves for making it this far and their Head of Year, Miss Kelly, said: 'I can personally say it was an honour to see them face their fears and verbally talk about topics that meant so much to them personally'.

Aimiee and Ronni did not make it to the national final but they can proudly say they have been placed within the top 19 within our region. Well done ladies.
