Royal Opera House TripPosted on: 03/06/2019
Congratulations to Year 7 and 8 students who were invited to the Royal Opera House as a reward for their 100% attendance and achieving the most conduct points.
Arriving early, we spent some time browsing around the Covent Garden area and eating lunch in the magnificent Opera House restaurant area. The students then settled down to watch Tosca. Although sung in Italian, subtitles were displayed above the stage so that the story was easy to follow. They all thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were keen to see another one with their parents (be warned!)
It was a huge pleasure to take our students on this special trip, not only to recognise their achievements, but also to spend time in their company. They were a credit to the school and their families. The next reward trip will be in December to see Nativity the Musical in London.
