House Competition 2019-2020 Final ResultsPosted on: 20/07/2020
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has taken part in House events this year, whether they were in school or remotely. We have been so impressed with the effort people have put in during lockdown and during our period of remote learning. As ever our students have done themselves and the school proud.
As the competition draws to an end, we would like to announce the overall House Cup winners. This year, once again due to an incredible number of House points, the winning house is ROMANS. A huge well done to all Romans who have worked so hard this year to earn House points and overtake the Vikings, and to Mr Read for his leadership as Head of Romans.
The overall House points winner, the student who has earned the most House points in the school over the year and won our top prize of an iPad, is Megan in Year 8. A huge congratulations to Megan, who will be receiving her prize in September. This is a massive achievement, well done!
Below are the year group totals, and the top ten for this year. A massive well done to all who reached such incredible personal tallies. Your hard work and dedication to being the best you can be is incredible. Our second and third place students, who are Chloe in 9BK and Megan in 9BE, will receive Amazon vouchers in return for their hard work, along with our year group winners.

This year it has been almost impossible to cash in House points. Therefore, students will have a two-week period in September to cash in their points for prizes.
Once again, we want to say a huge thank you to all students who have worked so hard to take part in events and earn House points. Thank you as well to our House Captains, who work so hard to promote and run the events, and a big thank you to all members of staff who have taken part in this year’s competition, including Tutors who give out messages to students and help with the smooth running of events.
The House Team hopes that our students and their families have the opportunity to rest and enjoy the summer break, and we look forward to next year returning to events in school, starting with our annual House Captain elections. Again, thank you to everyone who has been involved, and well done to all our excellent winners!
