How can a tree be made out of plastic?

Posted on: 22/05/2020

Thanks to the Terracycle Crisp Packet Recycling scheme at KES and the joint effort with Rochford Library, the school has raised enough money to buy a fruit tree for the student allotment. That's 3000 plus fewer empty crisp packets in landfill, a small contribution to creating a healthier and greener planet.

Well done to everyone who has contributed to the recycling effort so far!
Students and their families can still continue with collecting their empty packets - just bring them in when we return to school and place them in the receiving bins so that we can continue the good work.
