Life at KES

Inclusive KES

Posted on: 05/11/2019

As an inclusive school KES provides mainstream education for some students with particular needs and this year, we have a visually impaired student in Year 7.

Although Lillie has a member of staff to support her, she attends lessons with other Year 7 students. This term she has been learning about cells in Science and to demonstrate her knowledge and understanding of the lessons, Lillie has made a 3D poster showing animal and plant cells.
She has shown lots of enthusiasm for all of her lessons and always tries for her personal best, which is great to observe. We are very proud to have such a keen student at KES.
